A conference focusing on investment opportunities in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai was organised on October 13 in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 300 businesses, both domestic and foreign, operating in the city.

Mr Nguyen Vy Ha, chairman of Gia Lai provincial people's committee, said that the province has offered many incentives to investors doing business there, including lower land lease rates, lower income tax and VAT, site clearing and infrastructure facilities construction.

There are 15 investment projects licensed in the province with total capital of VND 3,600 billion.

Mr Le Thanh Hai, chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, said the city would assist businesses, both domestic and foreign, operating in the city to do business in Dak Lak province.
