Co-operation to plant forests and sell trees

The road leading to Dat Lua commune of Bao Ai village, Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province weaves through the mountain and sloppy areas covered with green trees. After many years of moving from place to place with the slash-and-burn farming method, dozens of households in the commune are now settling down on the banks of the Chay River where they were allocated forest land to take care of the trees, protect the forests and sell the trees to businesses.

Ba Ria - Vung Tau to offer safe vegetables

Authorities in the southern Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province plans to invest VNÐ 3.3 billion (US$213,000) to plant 47 ha of safe vegetables in Long Ðat, Tan Thanh and Xuyen Moc districts and Ba Ria town.
